A Brief Biography Of Swami Paramananda Maharaj

                                       Swami Paramananda Maharaj Ji was born on 25^th December in the year 1954 in Krisnadevpur village of Bardhaman district in West Bengal. He was one of the many children of Fakirchandra Das and Nivanani Devi who are very kind hearted, honest couple. He was named Rabin by his parents. From childhood  a lot of great virtues which differed him from other children of his age such as love towards trees, insects , and  other animals, were seen in him. He can feel the pain of the people of all  ages. From childhood he always see anything with great concentration and search the truth which is present behind every event and fact. Without his parents no one can understand him and his behaviour  so they think that Rabin was not normal.  Driven by the quest to explore the meaning of life he used to go away from home and travel throughout the country without any means or resources after completing his study in Primary School. He visited temples and mosques, churches and monasteries, ashrams and cottages, he met monks and sages, priests and religious leaders of all communities and faiths and at last he had reached in Himalaya and there he met some of the great spiritual souls and then he sat in meditation and did Sadhana for many years. After knowing the purpose of life and the cause behind sorrowful life of Human Being he came back to show the way of how peace and perfection would come in life of human being. He had joined in a job of Rural Electrification Project in rural Bengal to  support his mother in her effort to sustain her poor family for some time.

                               He resigned from the job and became a monk and established Paramananda Mission in Bardhaman with a group of young dedicated spiritual aspirants. His short life is full of incredible experiences and spiritual pursuits. When he left his body on 27^th November in 1999 at forty five he had set up a comprehensive network of spiritual service centers in remote areas of West Bengal and had made thousands of friends, disciples and devotees both in India and abroad. 
                               He is a spiritual Master, a teacher and a great organizer. But above all he is a visionary, a thought leader, a lover, a true friend and a fearless voice of the modern age.

                                To implement the ideology of Swami Paramananda Maharaj    a group of his dedicated spiritual aspirants have established spiritual service centres in many places in the World.
                                At present The Message of Swami Paramananda Maharaj is spreading rapidly in people by his dedicated Followers all over the World.

                                    To implement the ideology of Swami Paramananda Maharaj  , one of his disciples Swami Purusattamananda Maharaj with the participation of some devotees has established  Paramananda  Seva Ashram at Manickpur village of Sankrail of Howrah district in West Bengal on 25^th april in the year 2005 so that the message of Swami Paramananda Maharaj should reach to the people and the man can learn art of life and the art of living and above all they would get a way to find peace in their life.

                                   Since 2005  Paramananda Seva Ashram, located at Manickpur , Sankrail, of Howrah district has been working  for the improvement of people of backward villages in the field of Health and Education.
